ACCREDITATION

TRENT INFORMATION FIRST TECHNICAL CAREER INSTITUTE (TIFTCI) was established in January 2007 and registered as non-stock entity with the Securities and Exchange Commission as per SEC No. CS200706357 dated April 30, 2007. It is located at RLC Bldg., National Road, Barangay San Juan, Taytay, Rizal. The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) approved its application as Technical Vocational (TECHVOC) School.
On its initial operation on June 16, 2008, the school started with 490 students with an increased of twelve percent (12%) of enrollees on its second trimester of the same school year. On its second year of operation the enrollment doubled to 1,064 students.

OBJECTIVES

The School aims to provide technical and vocational training that will produce quality and competent graduates with positive work values necessary to improve quality of lives and take responsibility in ensuring the students to achieve career success in a technologically-oriented society in preparation for global competitiveness.

RELEVANT CURRICULUM

TIFTCI offers a two year diploma courses that includes Computer Technician, Computer Science, Computer Secretarial and Hotel and Restaurant Services, it takes only 1 ½ year to complete these courses. It also offers BARISTA (The Art of Coffee Mixing) certificate.
The school continues to design programs for the benefits of its students. In 2008, the school applied to become a TESDA Assessment Center for eight (8) competencies in Hotel and Restaurant Services course that includes Bartending National Certificate (NC II) , Commercial Cooking National Certificate (NC II) , Food and Beverage Services National Certificate (NC-II) , Housekeeping National Certificate (NC II) , Bread/Pastry Production National Certificate (NC) II, Front Office Services National Certificate (NCII) and Travel Services (NC II) , Tour Guiding Services National Certificate ( NC II ) and the accreditation was released by TESDA on February 3, 2009.

The following year, it also applied to become a TESDA Assessment Center for Computer Hardware Servicing National Certificate (NC II) and the accreditation was released by TESDA on May 25, 2010.

Our School Hymn
Our school hymn is an original composition of Jake Perez. It was inspired by the school’s philosophy, vision and mission. It was first sung by the TIF Glee Club during the 1st Acquaintance Party on August 9, 2008 at Bricks and Gables.
